After the phone call with my editor about her notes, I have way more confidence about editing. Now there’s guidance and direction, and some pretty practical ideas about how to proceed.

I decided it was time to make the most of the fact that my agent and editor both live on the coast. A few tweaks to the travel route, a few emails, a few jokes about Thelma and Louise, and we were on our way.
